Olympiaparken Sportell ligger midt på Birkebeineren skistadion, med skiløypene bokstavelig talt rett utenfor døren! Dette er et perfekt utgangspunkt for fantastiske skiopplevelser, treningssamlinger og fellesskap for lag og grupper som vil bo tett på skiløypene og idrettsbyen Lillehammer. Olympic Park sports hall The Olympic Park Sportell is located in the middle of the Birkebeineren ski stadium, with the ski slopes literally right outside the door! This is a perfect starting point for fantastic skiing experiences, training sessions and community for teams and groups who want to stay close to the ski slopes and the sports town of Lillehammer. Sleep, eat and exercise in the same place! Olympiaparken Sportell has a unique location at the Birkebeineren ski stadium and is a year-round offering for active guests. In winter, the location provides direct access to one of Norway's most extensive and well-groomed cross-country ski trails. In summer, the roller ski trail runs right outside the building, and the area is actively used for running, cycling and other outdoor training. The hostel is designed for teams and groups, with sleeping accommodations for up to 56 people, a shared living room and kitchen. The standard is simple and functional, and is well suited for guests who prioritize location, activity and community. Guests also have access to grease pits and other infrastructure in the stadium area. Olympiaparken Sportell is a natural choice for clubs, school classes and training groups who want an efficient, affordable and year-round starting point in one of Norway's best facilities for endurance sports. The doorbell Biathlon stadium Ski slope In the immediate vicinity is the biathlon stadium with 36 shooting targets, which makes the sports complex particularly suitable for biathlon teams and training sessions. Together with the World Cup stadium and other infrastructure in the stadium area, this provides an efficient and clear framework for training and living. Olympiaparken Sportell can be rented either as an entire building or by floor, depending on the size and needs of the group. When renting by floor, the rent applies to one floor at a time, and the price is calculated based on the number of people. Each floor has its own kitchen and living room, which provides a good setting for socializing and sharing meals. The whole world turned its attention to Lillehammer and a historic Winter Olympics was the start of our story. We own and operate the five Olympic arenas in Lillehammer. We have preserved this heritage for over 30 years and we still have state-of-the-art arenas for everything from large events, everyday sports and a wide range of activities for locals and tourists. Stable winter climate and ideal terrain provide very good ice conditions, making the track one of the first to open each season. In addition to top-level sports, the facility offers high-speed, adrenaline-pumping public activities. Jump training We welcome ski jumpers from all over the world to Lysgårdsbakkene, both for competitions and for training. We are open for training both summer and winter within set opening hours. Lysgårdsbakkene is one of the ski jumps in the world with the most jumps throughout the year. We have two slopes, HS 140 and HS98, a chairlift, changing rooms, grease pits, a staffed reception and a kiosk. In the summer, training days are posted for online booking well in advance, while in the winter, available days will be posted closer to the training day. We ask everyone to use online booking before arriving and pay in advance. If you need to pay upon arrival, you can call the Olympic Park reception for manual booking.
