
Cross-country skiing & biathlon
Birkebeineren Ski Stadium is a complete cross-country skiing and biathlon stadium located easily accessible at the top of Lillehammer. It was the Olympic arena for cross-country skiing and biathlon, both in '94 and the 2016 Youth Olympics, and is known for its demanding World Cup trails. But dont be affraid, there are trails for all levels.
Birkebeineren ski stadium
Birkebeineren Ski Stadium is an ideal starting point for trips into the mountains, and is connected to a 450 km trail network. The trail network is available for trips in both the summer and winter seasons. Where the 5 km long illuminated trail is used extensively throughout the winter, and is lit until 10 pm every evening.


The shooting range
The shooting range is open from 7 am to 10 pm.
Groups wishing to use the shooting range must pre-book this directly with Birkebeineren ski stadium.
We always have 6 discs that cannot be booked, which are available for drop in. (first come, first served)
All users of the shooting range must read and follow the applicable rules. Rules for using the shooting range are posted on the house and on each side of the shooting range, or read shooting range instructions here >
