Wheelbob is the ultimate must do experience if you're spending the summer in Lillehammer. Get ready for an adrenaline filled ride through the only Olympic bobsleigh track in the Nordic region.
Built for the 1994 Winter Olympics, the track hosts world class bobsleigh, luge and skeleton competitions every winter. But during summer, it's your turn to experience the closest thing to bobsleigh on wheels.
Feel your heart race as you speed through the track at 100 km/h, experiencing forces of up to 3G through every corner. It's no surprise Wheelbob is known as one of Norway's most thrilling summer activities. Expect huge smiles, unforgettable excitement and memories that will last a lifetime.
Please note: During the summer of 2026, the track is being upgraded in preparation for the 2027 IBSF World Championships in Bobsleigh & Skeleton. As a result, opening days and availability will be limited throughout the season.
We strongly recommend booking your Wheelbob ride in advance, as demand is expected to be high during the peak summer period.

The activities are not offered to pregnant women or people with current or past back, neck, heart or lung problems.
