Hakons-Hall-uteHåkons Hall was completed on 1st February 1993. The hall was the main arena for ice hockey during the Winter Olympics in 1994, and served as the arena for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies during Paralympics.






Today, Håkons Hall is one of the world’s most flexible multi-purpose halls and offers a world of opportunities for organizing a wide range of events.

The hall offers excellent facilities in connection with the entrance for easily organizing and running a practical secretariat.

Handball tournaments, concerts, exhibitions, conferences and banquets can be organized in flexible surroundings. The unique architecture and the Olympic Egg  serve as a magnificent backdrop for any event.

The
Norwegian Olympic Museum, where you can experience Olympic history dating from 1896 and up until today, is also located in Håkons Hall.

Håkons Hall is able to serve up to 2000 people at one setting for dinner. With lighting, decoration and appropriate table settings, the hall can be transformed into an elegant and charming restaurant. A stage for enter-tainment, music and even a dance floor can be easily installed.


The hall can be divided into smaller units as needed, allowing organizers to create an intimate atmosphere for any event.

For groups up to 200 persons, Håkons Hall Cafeteria may be used, and the lobby and VIP-rooms are also ideal for serving an aperitif before dinner. A very exclusive dinner for up to 15 persons can be served on
the Bislett ice in the Norwegian Olympic Museum.

Håkons Hall is very flexible as a conference hall. Stands and floor space can be combined in many different combinations, de-pending on the number of persons and theme. By dividing the hall into two sections, organizers can have a con-ference in the one half and a banquet in the other.



Other rooms and sections can also be used, for example, as group rooms or theme rooms.


Trade fair

For trade fairs and exhibitions, Håkons Hall has a capacity of 3500 sqm on one level, in addition to a lobby, a cafeteria, a VIP-room and other facilities.

syklerSports Centre
For sports, Håkons Hall offers two sections for handball and football, six volleyball courts or eight badminton courts, two squash courts, a well-equipped training centre, an aerobic room, 13 changing rooms and plenty more. The hall also features a golf centre with two golf simulators and a putting green.
